Our Founder
Joselynn Chua
Founder and Editor-in-ChiefSuburbs 101 was founded by Joselynn Chua. More than a decade ago, Joselynn and her husband outgrew their one-bedroom NYC Upper East Side condo. Like many New York couples, they moved to the suburbs because they were ready to start a family. Frustrated with the lack of resources, she founded Suburbs 101 to give readers the inside scoop on what it’s really like to live in the New York suburbs. Joselynn worked in sales and marketing at Fortune 500 companies, is a licensed real estate broker in NY and CT, and has lived and worked in all three states in the Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut). She has a degree in Applied Economics from Cornell University. She is an avid cruiser and has been on over 25 cruises around the world. Joselynn is now enjoying suburban life in Greenwich, CT with her husband and two children.
