Non-resident beach passes to Niantic Beach for non-residents are pricey. The non-resident beach pass is $40 for weekday beach access, $50 for weekend beach access and $75 for weekly visitor pass (7 day beach pass).

About Captain Island

Captain Island is the town of Greenwich’s private beach. Non-residents can take the town ferry from the Arch Street ferry dock which is within walking distance from The Delamar Greenwich Harbor.

There is a non-resident fee of $13 for the ferry ride to Island Beach plus a $9 single entry park pass. Note that the single entry park pass are not sold at the ferry dock, the park pass must be purchased in advance Monday to Friday at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center (90 Harding Road, Old Greenwich, CT )
