Costco Recalls Multiple Items- Do You Have them at Home?

Costco has announced important recalls affecting recently sold products. Each recall involves a different safety or labeling issue, and members who purchased these items are being asked to take action right away.

Fresh Ahi Wasabi Poke Recall

Why the Product Was Recalled

The Fresh Ahi Wasabi Poke sold on September 18, 2025, is being recalled due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The contamination stems from the green onions used in the preparation of the poke.

Listeria is a harmful bacteria that can cause serious infections, particularly in children, elderly individuals, pregnant people, and those with weakened immune systems.

What Customers Should Do

If you or an add-on member purchased this poke on September 18, 2025, don’t eat it and dispose of the product. Costco is providing a full refund for the item, which can be claimed at any warehouse.

Customer Support Information

Western United Fresh Co., doing business as Annasea Foods Group, is assisting with the recall. Customers can reach them directly by calling (425) 558-7809 between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday through Friday, or by emailing info@annasea.com.

Kirkland Signature Prosecco Recall

Why the Product Was Recalled

The second recall involves Kirkland Signature Prosecco Valdobbiadene, item number 1879870. This prosecco was sold between April 25, 2025, and August 26, 2026, in several Midwestern states including Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

Costco discovered that unopened bottles may shatter unexpectedly, even when not being handled, creating a risk of injury from broken glass.

Safe Disposal Instructions

Because of the risk involved, customers are being instructed not to return unopened bottles to Costco. Instead, dispose of the bottles safely at home.

Wrap each bottle in paper towels, place it inside a plastic bag, and then put it in your household garbage. This will help minimize the risk of broken glass.

Refund Details

Members who purchased this prosecco will still receive a full refund of the purchase price, even though the product cannot be returned to the warehouse. Costco emphasizes that safety comes first, and proper disposal is the top priority.

Rolling Pin Dubai Style Chocolate Recall

Why the Product Was Recalled

The third recall affects Rolling Pin Dubai Style Chocolate, item number 1932972, purchased between May 1, 2025, and August 9, 2025.

The allergen statement on the packaging inadvertently listed gluten as the allergen rather than wheat. Since gluten is present in wheat, the company has assessed the health risk to be minimal.

In addition, the ingredient statement for the product lists kunefa, which is known to contain wheat, further indicating the presence of the allergen.

What Customers Should Do

If there are any wheat allergies in your household, you are advised to return the chocolate to Costco for a full refund. While the mislabeling may not pose a significant risk for most customers, those with specific wheat allergies should take extra caution.

Kirkland Signature Severe Cold & Flu Plus Congestion Recall

Why the Product Was Recalled

LNK has issued a recall for Kirkland Signature Severe Cold & Flu Plus Congestion, item number 1729556, purchased between October 30, 2024, and November 30, 2024. The recall was initiated due to the accidental release of a specific lot code, P140082, that had previously been rejected because of potential foreign material contamination.

What Customers Should Do

If you have this medication in your home, check the lot code printed on the packaging. Do not use any product marked with lot code P140082. Instead, return the affected item to Costco for a full refund.

Intex Above-Ground Pool Recall

Why the Product Was Recalled

Intex Recreation Corp. has announced a voluntary recall of certain above-ground pools that are 48 inches and taller, manufactured and sold between 2002 and 2012. These pools include a compression strap that runs on the outside of the pool legs.

While the strap is intended to maintain the structural integrity of the pool, its placement creates a potential foothold that children could use to climb into the pool. This poses a drowning hazard if the pool is accessible and unsupervised.

Beginning in 2013, Intex redesigned its 48-inch and taller pools so that the compression strap runs internally, between the pool wall and support legs, eliminating this potential hazard. As a result, this recall only applies to Intex-branded pools purchased prior to 2013 that are still in use.

What Customers Should Do

If you purchased one of the affected pools, the first step is to confirm whether your model is included. The recalled pools include the following:

  • Intex 48-inch and 52-inch Metal Frame Pools (2002–2012)
  • Intex 48-inch and 52-inch Ultra Frame Pools (2002–2012)

If you have a recalled pool, you are eligible to receive a free repair kit from Intex. Here are more details about the recall and how to correct the issue and make your pool safer for use.
