What is Norwegian Cruise Line’s More at Sea?

Norwegian Cruise Line recently announced its plan to introduce a new program to replace its popular Free at Sea package. The company will be phasing out the Free at Sea package and rolling out a fresh program called “More at Sea”.

What is NCL More at Sea?

NCL’s More at Sea package includes unlimited open bar, specialty dining meals, WiFi minutes, and shore excursion credits. This package is an upgraded version of the previous Norwegian Cruise Line’s Free at Sea package. Essentially, it offers more in terms of drinks, specialty dining, and WiFi than their Free at Sea Program, as the name suggests.

When Does It Start?

The new Norwegian Cruise Line More at Sea Package will be effective for all sailings booked on or after October 1, 2024, and will begin on sailings starting January 1, 2025.

NCL More at Sea- Drinks Package

The new NCL More at Sea drink package is an upgraded version of the previous unlimited open bar package. The key difference is the inclusion of more premium beverage brands such as Grey Goose, Casamigos, and Woodford Reserve. Additionally, there will be a 45% increase in the variety of premium brands available. Importantly, the package no longer has a $15 beverage cap.

This package offers an open bar with over 100 cocktail options, along with a 20% discount on bottles of champagne and wine, and unlimited sodas and juices. There is no daily limit on the number of drinks you can order, but they do encourage responsible alcohol consumption. If you bring your own wine on board and have the More at Sea Beverage Package, you won’t be charged a corkage fee.

It’s worth noting that Starbucks and bottled water are not covered by Norwegian Cruise Line’s More at Sea package. You’ll need to purchase Starbucks and bottled water separately or consider adding Starbucks and bottled water packages.
