We analyzed real estate sales data and only included the places where homes sold faster than 15 days and where at least 20 homes were sold. All the data in this report are based on August 2023 residential sales.

These towns are all located in different sections of Upstate New York. Rotterdam and Halfmoon are near Albany, Cicero is a town located in Onondaga County, near Syracuse, while Lake Erie Beach is a hamlet along the shores of Lake Erie, close to Buffalo.
