5 Signs You Need to Go on Another Cruise Vacation ASAP

Is it time for another cruise? I conducted a poll on our Cruise 101 Facebook page, and these are the top reasons why people miss cruising. Maybe it’s time for you to go on another cruise? Find out below!

Reasons Why It’s Time To Go on Another Cruise

You Miss Being Pampered

Many people choose to go on cruises because they want to feel pampered. A cruise is unlike other types of vacation because the service is truly exceptional.

The cruise staff will make you feel pampered, even if you’re staying in a regular cabin. For example, your waiter will remember your preferences without you having to ask. He will remember that you drink sparkling water instead of still water and that you want decaf coffee with your dessert after dinner!

Your cabin steward will make sure that your ice bucket is always full and may surprise you with towel animals at night. Some cruises even offer drink delivery to the hot tub, so you don’t have to get up.

The staff works hard to treat you like a VIP, providing truly exceptional service. If you find yourself missing this pampered life, it might be time to plan another cruise!

You’re Getting Tired of Meal Planning

One of the main reasons why people love going on cruises is that they don’t have to cook. The all-inclusive nature of a cruise means you can avoid the hassle of meal planning and cooking.

It’s a stress-free vacation where you don’t even have to think about where to eat. Your breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all taken care of. If you find yourself getting tired of cooking and meal planning, it’s a sign that it’s time to go on another cruise.

You Need a Break from the Daily Grind

Sometimes, you just need an easy vacation to give yourself a break from the daily grind. A cruise is the perfect solution. With everything included, a cruise takes the hassle out of vacation planning and lets you truly relax.

These days, going on a cruise is easier than ever, with numerous cruise ports located within driving distance for many people. It can be as simple as hopping in an Uber and stepping onto the cruise ship!

Even if you can’t take much time off work, a weekend cruise is a viable option. Many cruise lines now offer short Friday to Sunday (2 nights) cruises, making it easy to enjoy a weekend getaway if you live within driving distance of one of the Florida cruise ports.

Otherwise, you can take a short five night cruise to Bermuda from Baltimore or New Jersey. This is a great option for East Coast residents who can easily drive to these ports.

For those who work remotely, cruise lines like Virgin Voyages have made it convenient to work from the ship. They offer packages that allow you to work onboard for an entire month, complete with perks such as laundry service and WiFi.

If you’re craving a break from the daily grind and want a super easy vacation that requires minimal work on your part, then maybe it’s time to go on another cruise.

You Need a Real Vacation

If you’re craving a real vacation where you don’t have to cook, clean, or drive, then it’s time to go on another cruise. Going on a cruise is an easy vacation unlike any other. You don’t have to plan where to go, what to eat, or what sights to see. Everything is taken care of for you.

There is no need to drive like on a road trip. On a cruise, you just sleep and wake up at a new destination the next day – it’s that easy.

Unlike renting a vacation home where you still have to cook and clean, on a cruise, you can just show up at the buffet or main dining room for meals. There’s no need for cleaning either since your cabin steward takes care of everything for you.

And unlike a land vacation where you have to figure out what sights to visit, the shore excursion team on the cruise ship has already done the work for you. They’ve organized tours, so all you have to do is sign up and show up at the meeting place.

You Miss the Food

According to the poll on our Facebook page, the biggest draws of going on a cruise is the food. Since it’s an all-inclusive vacation, you have access to unlimited food.

On a cruise, you won’t just find standard fare like pizza, pasta, and burgers; instead, you will be indulging in upscale dishes like lobster, steak, escargot, souffle, risotto, and shrimp cocktail. The best part is that it’s all unlimited!

Plus, there are so many dining options to choose from. You can order room service for breakfast, enjoy lunch at the buffet, grab a snack by the pool, and have a 3-course dinner at the main dining room.
