New Canaan Annual Halloween Block Party

Where: Elm Street, New Canaan, CT
New Canaan’s Annual Halloween Block Party is back this year!
Kids and dogs of all ages are invited to New Canaan’s downtown to show off their costumes.
The first 500 attendees will receive a free pre-stuffed bag.
There are also prizes by Pet Pantry for costumed dogs.
Elm Street will be closed to cars from noon – 2:00 pm.
New Canaan Nature Center Halloween Spooktacular
When: October 28, 2023 at 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm ir 7:30pm to 9pm

Halloween on the Green at Fairfield Museum
When: October 29, 2023 ay 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Where: 370 Beach Road, Fairfield, CT
Don’t miss the Fairfield Museum’s 7th annual Halloween on the Green.
Come dressed in your best costume for a day of trick-or-treating, freebies, historic building exhibits, food vendors, a bouncy house, and much more.

Things to Do for Halloween in Westport, CT
Westport Halloween Window Painting
When: October 28, 2023 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Where: Town of Westport
On Saturday, October 28th, between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, children will paint a window that has been requested or assigned to them.
The painting will take place on Saturday andthe winners announced on Tuesday, judges will visit and select winners based on three separate criteria and age/school (Elementary & Middle School).
Prior to October 28th, merchants will mark out a 3′ × 3′ maximum area on their window for painting and will leave the art piece up until Halloween.
Winning windows will also display the ribbon.
Painters will provide their own water-based paint, drop cloths, brushes, and cleaning supplies.
Children are requested to come after Halloween to assist with cleaning the window.
The winners will have their photos taken with the window and published in the press, as well as get a gift voucher from Saugatuck Sweets.

Dress up and dance to music in Dracula’s Den while playing games and collecting candy and prizes!

Looking for a family friendly pumpkin decorating even in Darien? Bring the whole family to Darien Nature’s Center Pumpkin Decorating event.
You will use natural materials gathered from Cherry Lawn Park to create festive decor pumpkins for Halloween.
Sessions are outdoors, behind Darien Nature Center.
Please bring a drop cloth, and all other materials provided.
In the case of rain, pick up your pumpkin(s) and decorating kit to enjoy at home.
Adult supervision is required, this is not a drop-off event.
$20 per family.
