Alaska Airlines is the best airline in America. It holds the highest overall customer satisfaction rating. In 2023, their score improved significantly to 81, representing an impressive 8% increase from the previous year.

Best Airline Ranked by Customer Satisfaction

1. Alaska Airlines:

Alaska Airlines has been ranked as the best airline with the highest overall customer satisfaction rating. In 2023, their score improved significantly to 81, which was an impressive 8% increase from the previous year. 

  • 2022: 75.
  • 2023: 81 (a 8% increase)

2. American Airlines:

American Airlines had a relatively stable satisfaction score, with a slight 1% increase from 77 in 2022 to 78 in 2023. 

  • 2022: 77
  • 2023: 78 (a 1% increase) 

3. Southwest Airlines:

Similarly, Southwest Airlines also experienced a minor improvement, with a 1% increase from 77 in 2022 to 78 in 2023. 

  • 2022: 77
  • 2023: 78 (a 1% increase) 

4. United Airlines:

United Airlines, on the other hand, maintained a satisfaction score of 77 in both 2022 and 2023.

5. Delta Air Lines:

Delta Air Lines saw a slight decline in satisfaction, with a 1% decrease from 77 in 2022 to 76 in 2023.

  • 2023: 76 (a 1% decrease)

6. JetBlue Airways:

JetBlue Airways experienced a more significant drop in satisfaction, with a 4% decrease from 79 in 2022 to 76 in 2023.

  • 2022: 79
  • 2023: 76 (a 4% decrease)

7. Allegiant Air:

Allegiant Air showed a remarkable improvement, with a 7% increase from 70 in 2022 to 75 in 2023. 

  • 2022: 70
  • 2023: 75 (a 7% increase)

8. All Other Airlines:

The “All Other Airlines” category represents an aggregate of smaller carriers. Their satisfaction scores increased slightly from 71 in 2022 to 72 in 2023, which was a 1% increase.

  • 2023: 72 (a 1% increase)

9. Frontier Airlines:

Frontier Airlines had a modest increase of 2%, from 66 in 2022 to 67 in 2023. 

  • 2022: 66
  • 2023: 67 (a 2% increase)

10. Spirit Airlines:

Spirit Airlines also saw a slight improvement, with a 2% increase from 63 in 2022 to 64 in 2023.
