Costco is Opening 5 New U.S. Warehouses in October

Costco is opening five U.S. warehouses in October 2026, bringing new locations to Missouri, Texas, New York, Kansas and California.

Two of the five warehouses are already open. Lee’s Summit, Missouri, welcomed shoppers on October 2, followed by The Colony, Texas, on October 16.

Three more Costco warehouses are scheduled to open before the end of October: Amherst, New York, on October 28; Lawrence, Kansas, on October 29; and Camarillo, California, on October 30.

Here’s the updated October 2026 Costco opening schedule, including confirmed dates and addresses.

Lee’s Summit, Missouri

Costco officially opened its new Lee’s Summit, Missouri, warehouse on Friday, October 2, 2026.

The opening came after a delay of more than a month. The warehouse was originally scheduled to open on August 28, but its grand opening was pushed back to October.

The new Costco is located at 10 SE Oldham Parkway in Lee’s Summit, near the Missouri 291 and U.S. 50 interchange.

With the warehouse now open, Costco shoppers in the southeastern Kansas City metro area have another location to shop for groceries, household essentials, and Kirkland Signature products.

The Colony, Texas- Opened October 16, 2026

Costco officially opened its new warehouse in The Colony, Texas, on October 16, 2026.

The new warehouse added another Costco location to the fast growing Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The new warehouse is located at: 6060 Grandscape Boulevard, The Colony, TX 75056

With Costco continuing to add warehouses across Texas, the new location will give shoppers in The Colony and surrounding communities another option for buying Costco groceries, household products and Kirkland Signature favorites.

Amherst, New York

Costco is opening its long-awaited Amherst, New York, warehouse on October 28, 2026.

The new Costco will be located at:

4230 Ridge Lea Road
Amherst, NY 14226

This is a particularly notable opening because it will be the first Costco warehouse in the Buffalo area.

The Costco gas station at the Amherst location opened ahead of the warehouse in September.

The new warehouse is expected to include a pharmacy, optical department, hearing aid center, gas station and tire service center.

Lawrence, Kansas

Costco is opening a new warehouse in Lawrence, Kansas, on October 29, 2026.

The new Costco will be located at:

6200 Mercato Drive
Lawrence, KS 66049

The warehouse is expected to include a pharmacy, optical department, hearing aid center, gas station and tire service center.

The Lawrence opening comes a few weeks after Costco opened its new Lee’s Summit warehouse in Missouri.

Camarillo, California

Costco is opening its new Camarillo, California, warehouse on October 30, 2026.

The new Costco will be located at:

431 W. Ventura Boulevard
Camarillo, CA 93010

The Costco gas station at this location opened earlier, on May 1, 2026, ahead of the warehouse.

The October opening will finally bring the full Costco warehouse to the site.

Costco Has Even More New Stores Coming

Costco isn’t slowing down after October. Five more U.S. locations are currently scheduled to open in November 2026.

The upcoming locations are:

• South Meridian, Idaho — November 5
• Vallejo, California — November 6
• Chandler Business Center, Arizona — November 7
• Franklin, Wisconsin — November 25
• Newport News, Virginia — November, exact date not yet confirmed

The new Vallejo, California, warehouse is scheduled to open on November 6, 2026, at 860 Admiral Callaghan Lane.

This location will replace the existing Vallejo Costco on Plaza Drive. The new warehouse will be larger and feature an expanded gas station, pharmacy, tire center, optical department, and hearing aid center.

With five October openings and five more scheduled for November, Costco is planning 10 U.S. warehouse openings across the two months.

Opening dates can change, so it’s always a good idea to check Costco’s official website before visiting a brand-new warehouse.

I’ll continue updating this article as Costco confirms additional opening dates.
