Costco is Opening 5 New U.S. Warehouses in October

Costco is continuing its expansion, with five new U.S. warehouses scheduled to open in October 2026.

The new Costco locations are coming to Missouri, Texas, New York, Kansas and California. Four of the five already have exact opening dates, while one is still listed by Costco simply as opening in October.

If you’ve been waiting for a Costco to open near you, here are the five new warehouses scheduled to open in October 2026.

For Costco shoppers in these areas, the wait is almost over. Here’s what Costco has confirmed so far.

Lee’s Summit, Missouri

Costco will open its new Lee’s Summit, Missouri warehouse on Friday, October 2, 2026.

The new Costco will be located at:

10 SE Oldham Parkway
Lee’s Summit, MO

The warehouse was originally expected to open on August 28, but the opening was delayed by more than a month.

The new location will give Costco shoppers in the southeastern Kansas City metro area another option and is being built near the Missouri 291 and U.S. 50 interchange.

The Colony, Texas

Costco is opening a new warehouse in The Colony, Texas, in October 2026.

Costco currently lists The Colony on its official list of upcoming locations, but an exact opening date has not yet been announced.

The new warehouse will add another Costco location to the fast growing Dallas-Fort Worth area.

With Costco continuing to add warehouses across Texas, the new location will give shoppers in The Colony and surrounding communities another option for buying Costco groceries, household products and Kirkland Signature favorites.

Amherst, New York

Costco is opening its long-awaited Amherst, New York, warehouse on October 28, 2026.

The new Costco will be located at:

4230 Ridge Lea Road
Amherst, NY 14226

This is a particularly notable opening because it will be the first Costco warehouse in the Buffalo area.

The Costco gas station at the Amherst location opened ahead of the warehouse in September.

The new warehouse is expected to include a pharmacy, optical department, hearing aid center, gas station and tire service center.

Lawrence, Kansas

Costco is opening a new warehouse in Lawrence, Kansas, on October 29, 2026.

The new Costco will be located at:

4821 W. 6th Street
Lawrence, KS 66049

The warehouse is expected to include a pharmacy, optical department, hearing aid center, gas station and tire service center.

The Lawrence opening comes just weeks after Costco opens its new Lee’s Summit warehouse across the state line in Missouri.

Camarillo, California

Costco is opening its new Camarillo, California, warehouse on October 30, 2026.

The new Costco will be located at:

431 W. Ventura Boulevard
Camarillo, CA 93010

The Costco gas station at this location opened earlier, on May 1, 2026, ahead of the warehouse.

The October opening will finally bring the full Costco warehouse to the site.

Costco Has Even More New Stores Coming

October will be a busy month for Costco, but the expansion won’t stop there.

Costco currently has five additional U.S. locations scheduled to open in November 2026, including new warehouses in South Meridian, Idaho; Vallejo, California; Chandler, Arizona; Newport News, Virginia; and Franklin, Wisconsin.

That means Costco currently has 10 U.S. warehouse openings scheduled across October and November.

Costco has been steadily adding new warehouses across the U.S. and internationally, and more locations are already being planned for the years ahead.
