Are you looking to give back to the community? The Junior League of Northern Westchester is running their Holiday Sharing Drive. You can sponsor a family and make a difference in their life this Holiday season.
Here are some examples of families looking for sponsors:
- A family of 4 struggling to make ends meet, with 2 young children ages 1 and 3. They are asking for dolls, PJs, winter boots, winter wear, sheets, and a backpack
- A single father raising a 10 year old son and 5 year old daughter needs sneakers, winter jackets, dolls, bedroom lamps, glasses, a bathmat, and a toaster.
How to Sign Up for the Junior League of Westchester Holiday Sharing Drive
You can go to Junior League of Westchester Holiday Sharing Drive online registry to review families’ wish lists and select your family.
Sponsor a family:
- Sponsor an individual, or select several individuals to sponsor a large family (6+)
- Small family (2-3)
- Medium family (4-5)
- Donate a Big Item
If you are unable to sponsor a family but would still like to contribute, please consider a monetary donation:
- Make a monetary donation
Donations should be delivered to the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester (located at 351 East Main Street, Mt Kisco, NY) on Saturday December 14, 2019 or Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 9am-6pm.
The Holiday Sharing Drive is one of the Junior League’s signature events providing gifts to nearly 200 families. For 39 years, the Junior League of Northern Westchester has worked with local agencies to make the holiday season brighter for struggling families in the area. Recipients include single-parent families, senior citizens, homeless families, physically challenged individuals, families suffering deep financial duress, and those struggling with terminal illness.
Help put smiles on the faces of those in need within our community this holiday season. Because every family deserves a little happy over the holidays.
