It’s that time of the year again! Have you caught the Holiday bug yet? There are a lot of Holiday Events in Westchester that will surely get you in the Holiday mood. Here are upcoming Holiday events in Westchester.
Westchester Winter Wonderland
When: November 29, 2019 to January 4, 2020 (after 5pm)
Where: Kensico Dam Plaza, Valhalla, NY
If you want a Holiday event in Westchester that gives you all- Santa, Live Reindeer, Rides, Ice Skating and Circus, then you will want to go to Westchester’s Winter Wonderland. Experience a one-of-a-kind holiday event that brings the best of Bryant Park and Rockefeller Center right here in Westchester!
- Santa’s Village – take your own, unlimited photos with Santa and special character friends.
- Live Reindeer Exhibit
- Ice Skating on the outdoor rink, including skates.
- Holiday Circus performances and special programming and event nights.
- Enhanced “Lights of Wonder” holiday light show.
- New, unlimited holiday rides.
- Access to many dining options, 2 Wine/Beer Bars and heated outdoor seating area.
Admission is $20 per person. Children 3 years old and under are free. It’s a great value since all Activities are included. Entries are not timed, ticketholders can stay in Winter Wonderland as long as they like! Parking is free.
Winterfest in Tuckahoe
When: December 7, 2019 at 12pm-8pm
Where: Depot Square, Tuckahoe, NY
Looking for a free Holiday event in Westchester? Stop by Winterfest in Tuckahoe! Holiday Entertainment, Food Vendors, Tree Lighting Ceremony, Caroling, Hay Ride, Photos with Santa and More! The tree lighting ceremony will begin at 5 pm. This is a free event for all!
New York Botanical Garden Holiday Tree Lighting and Train Show
When: December 8, 2019 from 4pm-5:15pm
Where: New York Botanical Garden, Bronx, NY
Although the New York Botanical Garden is technically not in Westchester, its close proximity to Westchester makes it convenient for many Westchester residents. Come to the annual New York Botanical Garden Holiday Tree Lighting. The annual tree and menorah lighting ceremony kicks off NYBG Holiday Train Show season with the soaring voices of carolers and special guests. Make a day out of it and stop by the Holiday Train Show before the Tree Lighting Ceremony.
Greenburgh Nature Center Holiday Train Show
When: Saturday & Sunday on November 23 & 24, November 30 & December 1, December 7 & 8, and December 14 & 15, 10:00am-4:30pm
Where: 99 Dromore Road, Scarsdale, NY
Come to Greenburgh Nature Center Holiday Train Show. This is a Holiday event for the entire family. Enjoy zooming freight cars, flashing bells, tooting whistles, and more at the annual Greenburg Nature Center Holiday Train Show in Scarsdale.
Admission: Members: free, Non-members: $10 adults, $9 seniors/students, $8 children (ages 2-12), children under 2 free
Lasdon Holiday Train Show
When: Holidays on the Hill is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays, Dec. 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29
Where: Ladson Park and Arboretum- 2610 Amawalk Road, Katonah, NY
This is another family-friendly Holiday event in Westchester. Marvel at the huge miniature trains that wind their way through a seasonal landscape during Holidays on the Hill event, weekends in December at Lasdon Park and Arboretum in Katonah.
Admission: $10 for adults and $5 for children 12-3 yrs. old. (2 and under free)
There are definitely a lot of Holiday events in Westchester for the whole family to enjoy!
