How Much Free Onboard Credit Do Shareholders Get on Cruises?

Many cruisers don’t realize this, but you can get free onboard credit if you are a cruise line shareholder. This onboard credit ranges from $50 to $250 per stateroom. You typically need to own at least 100 shares to be eligible for free credit.

Norwegian Cruise

Norwegian Cruise shareholders owning a minimum of 100 shares can get free onboard credit in their next cruise. You will receive $50 onboard credit per stateroom on sailings of 6 days or less, $100 onboard credit per stateroom on sailings of 7 to 14 days, and $250 onboard credit per stateroom on sailings of 15 days or more.

Regent Seven Seas

You can get free onboard credit on your next Regent Seven Seas cruise if you are a Norwegian Cruise Line shareholder. You will receive $50 onboard credit per stateroom on sailings of 6 days or less, $100 onboard credit per stateroom on sailings of 7 to 14 days, and $250 onboard credit per stateroom on sailings of 15 days or more. You must own a minimum of 100 shares to qualify for shareholder perks.

Carnival Cruise

If you own at least 100 shares of Carnival Cruise, you can request free onboard credit. You will get $50 for sailings of 6 days or less, $100 for sailings of 7 to 13 days, and $250 for sailings of 14 days or longer. 

Cunard

Carnival Cruise shareholders can receive free onboard credit on Cunard. You will get $50 for sailings of 6 days or less, $100 for sailings of 7 to 13 days, and $250 for sailings of 14 days or longer. You need to own a minimum of 100 shares to take advantage of the shareholder benefit.

Oceania

For sailings 6-13 nights, you can get $100 onboard credit per stateroom and $250 onboard credit for sailings 14 or more nights. World Cruises will receive $1000 onboard credit per stateroom. You need to own at least 100 shares to get this benefit. Galapagos sailing and complimentary cruises are excluded.

Seabourn

You will get $50 for sailings of 6 days or less, $100 for sailings of 7 to 13 days, and $250 for sailings of 14 days or longer. You can get $50 per stateroom for cruises 5 nights or less, $100 for 6-13 nights, $250 for cruises 14 nights or more, and $1000 on world cruises.
