New Whole Foods Stores Opening in 2026: State by State List

If you’ve been hoping for a Whole Foods closer to home, there are several new locations to watch. Whole Foods Market has announced six November store openings across Arizona, California, Florida, Ohio and Virginia.

The new stores include the first Whole Foods in Manatee County, Florida, a first location for the Simi Valley area and a large Los Angeles flagship. Two openings are relocations of existing stores.

Here’s where the stores are opening and what shoppers can expect, based on Whole Foods Market’s official announcements.

Florida

Bradenton

Whole Foods is scheduled to open in Bradenton on November 5, 2026, at 8 a.m.

Address: 7295 SR 64 East, Bradenton, Florida

The 42,000 square foot store will be in the Marketplace at Heritage Harbour. It will be the first Whole Foods in Manatee County and the chain’s 40th location in Florida.

Shoppers can expect more than 450 Florida products, along with meat and seafood counters, a bakery, hot food and salad bars, pizza, sandwiches and freshly rolled sushi.

Regular hours will be 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

California

Simi Valley

Simi Valley’s first Whole Foods is scheduled to open on November 10, 2026, at 9 a.m.

Address: 2631 Tapo Canyon Road, Simi Valley, California

The 35,203 square foot store will carry more than 1,500 products from California suppliers. Local selections will include pasta sauce from Sauz, coffee from Groundwork Organic Coffee Roasters and granola bites from Lark Ellen Farm.

The bakery will offer favorites such as Berry Chantilly Cake, along with seasonal treats including Pumpkin Cheesecake and Apple Brown Butter Cookies.

Regular hours will be 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Los Angeles

A new Whole Foods flagship is scheduled to open in Los Angeles on November 11, 2026.

Address: 355 S. Ogden Drive, Los Angeles, California

The 63,082 square foot store will be in the Bloom on Third shopping center at Third and Fairfax.

This opening is a relocation of the original Fairfax store next door, which has served the community since 2002. At more than 63,000 square feet, the flagship will be the largest store among the six locations featured here.

Arizona

Scottsdale

Whole Foods is scheduled to open in Scottsdale on November 12, 2026, at 8 a.m.

Address: 7628 E. Indian School Road, Scottsdale, Arizona

The 38,158 square foot location will be the chain’s 11th Arizona store. It will carry more than 260 Arizona products, including chocolate from Stone Grindz Chocolate, cold brew from Cartel Roasting Co. and popcorn from Kettle Heroes.

Prepared food options will include hot food and salad bars, pizza, sandwiches and sushi.

Regular hours will be 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Ohio

West Chester

The new West Chester Whole Foods is scheduled to open on November 18, 2026, at 9 a.m.

Address: 8310 Liberty Way, West Chester, Ohio

The 40,000 square foot store will replace the existing Mason location, which has served the community since 2007.

The new location will feature more than 300 products from Ohio and neighboring states.

Regular hours will be 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Virginia

Midlothian

Whole Foods is scheduled to open in Midlothian on November 19, 2026, at 8 a.m.

Address: 1051 Steam Ave., Midlothian, Virginia

The 37,636 square foot store will be the third Whole Foods in the greater Richmond area and the 17th in Virginia.

Its assortment will include more than 390 products from Virginia and neighboring states. Shoppers will find coffee from Blanchard’s Coffee Roasting Co., kombucha from Blue Ridge Bucha and cookies from Whisked by Jenna.

Regular hours will be 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Opening Day Giveaways

If you’re planning to visit on opening morning, there may be an extra reason to arrive early.

Whole Foods has announced that the first 300 customers in line at the Bradenton, Simi Valley, Scottsdale and Midlothian openings will receive a limited-edition local tote bag and a Secret Saver coupon offering savings of up to $100.
