If you have a 3rd and 4th grader, your child can ski for free at New York ski resorts participating in the New York Kids Ski Free Passport Program! New York has a Kids Ski Free Passport Program where 3rd and 4th graders ski for free at participating New York ski resorts/ski areas. You have to apply for the passport program and then your 3rd or 4th grader will receive 3 free lift tickets! Note that you need to purchase an adult lift ticket to receive the free child lift ticket and the adult lift ticket must be purchased directly from the ski resort and not from 3rd party ticket sellers. There are no blackout dates for the 2019-2020 ski season so you can use it during President’s Day Weekend.
New York also offers a Kids Learn to Ski or Ride Program for true beginners. Your 3rd or 4th grader will receive a lift ticket, lesson and equipment rental for $31 processing fee (must purchase an adult lift ticket to be eligible)!
