The Greenwich Wine + Food Festival is back for it’s 8th year. This is a very popular event with a Master Chef Wine Dinner on Friday, September 21 and a full day of food, drinks, music and fun on Saturday, September 22. This year the Greenwich Wine + Food Festival will honor Alex Guarnaschelli at the Friday night Master Chef Wine Dinner, and welcome Scott Conant as a special guest, as well as provide live musical entertainment. Saturday’s events take place in the Culinary Village and are centered around the Grand Tasting tent. Guests will enjoy tastings and demonstrations from more than 150+ of the area’s finest food, wine and spirits experts, as well as other tents celebrating burgers, BBQ, tacos and more. They will also experience sommelier, mixologist and brew master presentations, celebrity book signings, Q&A sessions with top culinary experts, a celebrity green room with live interviews and an exclusive Meet the Masters’ Panel discussion with Scott Conant, Alex Guarnaschelli and more. The 7th Annual Burger Battle will return, as will the 4th Annual Top Bartender Showdown, providing heated competition between area restaurants. The festival will come to a close with a headlining live musical performance. Proceeds raised will benefit Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and the Town of Greenwich Parks & Recreation Foundation.

The popular annual Oyster Festival returns. The festival offers a wide range of activities and entertainment for the whole family. Entertainment includes the Nerveless Nocks Thrill Show, Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show, a 65 foot gondola ferris wheel, a kid’s cove with lots of activities, games and other kid-friendly live entertainment, a Craft Beer tent with more than 40 beers and the expansive Arts & Crafts Pavilion with more than 100 artisans and crafters. Plus, an international food court, oyster slurping contest, and more. Sunday is Family Day with special family and children’s packages for entrance, rides and meals. Adult Friday night admission is $10 and Saturday/Sunday adult admission is $12. Children is $5 and kids under 5 years old is free.

The 5th Annual Uncorked and Uncapped: Wine, Beer, and Food Fest will be held on September 27, 2018. The festival will feature fine wines, craft beers, spirit tastings, food samples and a silent auction. All proceeds will benefit The Arc of Essex County’s programs and services. The Arc of Essex County is the largest service provider supporting individuals with Down syndrome, Autism, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families in Essex County, NJ. Tickets are $100 each.
