1. Muscoot Farms at 51 Route 100, Katonah, NY 10536

Muscoot Farm is a 777 acre park in Katonah, NY. There are so many things to do at Muscoot Farm. Go see the farm animals, there are cows, goats, ducks, chickens and sheep at Muscoot Farm. Go hiking at the scenic hiking trails at Muscoot Farm. Or participate in one of the educational programs at Muscoot Farms. 

2. Caramoor Center for Music and Arts at 149 Girdle Ridge Rd, Katonah, NY 10536

Watch an outdoor concert at Caramoor Center for Music and Arts. Start with a pre-concert picnic while enjoying the beautiful grounds at Caramoor, then take a stroll around the magnificent gardens at Caramoor. 

3. John Jay Homestead at 400 Jay St, Katonah, NY 10536

There is a lot to do at John Jay Homestead. You can go on a picnic, take a stroll at the formal gardens, check out the exhibits at the Carriage Barn, go visit an original 1826 one-room schoolhouse, take the kids to play in the small playhouse with traditional handcrafted toys or go on a docent-led tour of John Jay’s Bedford House. If you are visiting with kids, there are even backpacks your kids can borrow to track animals complete with binoculars and magnifying glasses! And if you happen to be there in the summer, check out the Farmer’s Market at John Jay Homestead.

4. Lasdon Park at 2610 Amawalk Road, Route 35, Somers, NY

There are a lot of things to do at Lasdon Park. Take the kids to see dinosaurs at Lasdon Park’s Dinosaur Garden. Check out the Chinese Cultural Garden complete with an authentic Chinese pavilion. Take a stroll in the beautiful gardens- go during lilac and azalea season. If it’s cold out, visit the indoor rainforest in the Lasdon Park Conservatory. Don’t forget to pack a picnic lunch and wear comfortable shoes to Lasdon Park!

5. Katonah Museum of Art at 134 Jay Street Katonah, NY 10536

Visit the rotating art exhibitions at Katonah Museum of Art. Don’t forget to check out the outdoor sculpture garden.

6. Go Shopping on Katonah Avenue

There are lots of independent boutiques along Katonah Avenue. Spend an hour or two strolling and dining at Katonah Avenue.
