This summer, why not shake things up and combine a cruise vacation with working remotely? With the Virgin Voyages summer season pass, you can do just that. Following the success of their European Summer Season Pass launch, Virgin Voyages has extended their “work from cruise” option to sailings departing from Miami. Imagine working from the comfort of your balcony cabin while cruising the Caribbean and Mexico!
How It Works
Virgin Voyages Summer Season pass is a “work from cruise ship” package. This package allows you to live and work from a cruise ship for one month. It is available on Virgin’s Valiant Lady sailing out of Miami.
It’s essentially a month-long cruise to Caribbean and Mexico cruise ports with stops at Puerto Plata, Key West, Costa Maya, Grand Turk, and Cozumel. Summer season pass passengers will also visit Virgin’s private beach club in the Bahamas, Beach Club at Bimini, a couple of times during their month-long cruise.
The month-long Virgin Voyages Summer Season pass cruise passengers will be taking 6 back-to-back cruises, and instead of disembarking at Miami, they will stay on for the next cruise. This means that you will be able to work remotely for a month from the comfort of your balcony cabin while cruising the Caribbean and Mexico!
How Much Does it Cost?
The cost of Virgin Voyages’ month-long summer season pass starts at $12,000 for two people in a mid-ship Balcony cabin. That’s a 25% savings!
What’s Included in Virgin Voyages Summer Season Pass?
Virgin Voyages’ summer season pass includes everything you need to work remotely on a cruise ship. You will be assigned a mid-ship balcony cabin with your private red hammock.
Premium Wi-Fi is included in your package. You will have early access to make reservations at restaurants and shore excursions. A welcome bubbly will kick off your month-long cruise. And every day, you will receive 2 free specialty coffee drinks.
There will be a dedicated concierge just for season pass cruise passengers. Laundry service is also included. You will get wash and fold service for each leg of your cruise. Since each month-long cruise consists of six back-to-back legs, you will receive a wash and fold service six times during your stay.
Also, if you’re one of the first 25 people to book each month, you will be given exclusive access to Richard’s Rooftop, a members-only sundeck with panoramic ocean views.
What If You Can’t Stay for the Entire Month?
If you can’t cruise for the entire month, you will not be able to receive a refund. With the summer season pass, you are essentially paying for a month-long cruise. It’s not worth it if you can’t stay for the entire month, you are better off booking individual cruises.
