Walmart Black Friday 2026: Sale Dates and Early Access

If you’re like me, you love a good Black Friday sale, but the thought of crowded aisles and long checkout lines makes you hesitate. The good news? You don’t have to wait until the day after Thanksgiving to shop Walmart’s deals—or even leave your couch.

Walmart’s early Black Friday sale starts Thursday, November 12, both in stores and on Walmart.com, giving you a chance to get ahead on holiday shopping before Thanksgiving week. And that’s just the first of three sale events.

Here’s when each sale starts and what to know before you shop.

Walmart’s Early Black Friday Sale Starts Thursday, November 12

Walmart’s first event, Early Black Friday Deals, runs Thursday, November 12, through Sunday, November 15, 2026.

Online shopping begins Thursday, November 12 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time on Walmart.com. The in-store event starts that morning at 6 a.m. local time.

This is the first sale window to put on your calendar if you’re hoping to get some holiday shopping done before Thanksgiving week. Having a list ready can help you focus on gifts you actually need instead of filling a cart simply because something is marked down.

The Main Black Friday Sale Has Two Start Dates

Walmart’s main Black Friday Deals event runs Monday, November 23, through Sunday, November 29, 2026, but the online and in-store dates are different.

The online sale begins Monday, November 23 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time. The big Black Friday in-store sale starts Friday, November 27 at 6 a.m. local time.

If you prefer browsing the aisles, Friday, November 27 is the date to remember. If you plan to shop from your couch, you’ll want to check online several days earlier.

Walmart+ Members Get a Head Start on Select Deals

If you’re a Walmart+ member like me, you’ll be happy to know you get a head start on online Black Friday deals. Members receive 24 hours of early access to select online-only “hot Deal drops.”

For the early event, member access begins Thursday, November 12, at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time. Remaining eligible items open to everyone on Friday, November 13, at the same time.

For the main event, member access begins Monday, November 23, at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time. Remaining eligible items open to everyone on Tuesday, November 24, at the same time.

If you don’t have Walmart+, check your credit card benefits before paying for a membership.

Certain cards, including the American Express Platinum Card, offer statement credits covering the Walmart+ monthly membership fee when you pay with the eligible card. The benefit applies to the monthly plan, so check your card’s terms before signing up.

Another perk: eligible paid Walmart+ members can share their benefits with one adult family member who lives in the same household at no extra cost.

You can send an invitation through your Walmart+ membership settings, and your family member will use their own Walmart account.

Get your membership—and any eligible family sharing—set up before the early Black Friday sale begins on Thursday, November 12, so you’re ready to shop.

Cyber Monday Runs Through Wednesday, December 2

Walmart’s Cyber Monday event runs Monday, November 30, through Wednesday, December 2, 2026, beginning online at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time on Monday, November 30.

That gives shoppers another sale window after Black Friday weekend. Still, I wouldn’t assume that a particular product will be cheaper during Cyber Monday. Compare the actual offer when it becomes available rather than counting on a later price drop.

Have Walmart’s Black Friday Prices Been Announced?

The schedule is confirmed, but Walmart has yet to announce Black Friday markdowns or release their Black Friday flyer.
