Costco’s September sale is here, and I went through the current deals to see which ones are actually worth adding to your cart.
There are some good discounts this month on everyday groceries, freezer foods, drinks, paper products, cleaning supplies and personal care items. A few of the household products can also be stacked with Costco’s current P&G promotion, which can make the savings even better.
Most of these deals are valid through September 20, 2026, but prices and inventory can vary by warehouse.
Here are the Costco September deals I’d look for.
Bounty Advanced Paper Towels – $22.89

Paper towels are one of those Costco items that are easy to stock up on because you know you’ll eventually use them. If you normally buy Bounty, this is a good time to pick up a pack.

Chobani 20g Protein Plain Greek Yogurt – $4.69

It has 20 grams of protein per serving, zero added sugar and is lactose-free.

This is one of my favorite deals in the sale. Under $5 for a large container of Greek yogurt is a good price, especially if you eat it for breakfast, snacks or use it in smoothies.
Hillshire Farm Naturals Turkey Breast – $8.89

That works out to about $2.96 per 12-ounce package.
I like that it comes divided into smaller packages, so you don’t have to open all of it at once. It’s an easy lunchbox or sandwich staple.

This is a good deal if you go through coffee creamer quickly. Just keep the size in mind, because 58 ounces is a lot if you only use a small amount each day.

That works out to about $6.75 per pound.
If you make coffee at home every day, this is one of the easier Costco sale items to justify because it lasts longer than refrigerated groceries.

If you buy gluten-free pizza, this is a good freezer stock-up. It also works well to have on hand for nights when you need something quick.

That works out to about 25 cents per dishwasher load.

If you use Swiffer dusters, this is a good time to buy the refill pack instead of waiting until you run out.

This is the kind of sale I like because it’s on something many people buy regularly and can easily store.

This is one of the biggest discounts I spotted.
The package includes 20 Professional Transformation treatments plus 10 Monthly Brightener strips.
If Crest Whitestrips are something you use, I’d wait for a sale like this rather than pay the regular price.
Crest is also a P&G brand, so this may count toward the P&G promotion.
Philips Sonicare Brush Heads – $49.99
The Philips Sonicare Two-in-One Plaque Removal + Whitening Replacement Brush Heads, 8-pack, are $49.99 after a $15 instant rebate.

Savings: $15
That works out to about $6.25 per brush head.
Replacement electric toothbrush heads can get expensive, so this is one of those items that makes sense to buy when Costco puts them on sale.
Don’t Forget About Costco’s P&G Deal
If you’re buying household and personal care items this month, take a look at Costco’s current P&G promotion before you check out.
Several products in this roundup—including Bounty, Cascade, Swiffer, Always, Pantene and Crest—are P&G brands. Depending on the promotion terms and qualifying purchases, you may be able to combine the regular Costco sale prices with the separate P&G offer.

The Costco September Deals I’d Buy First
If I were narrowing the list down, I’d start with the items my household already uses.
For groceries, the Chobani Greek Yogurt for $4.69, Mayorga Organic Coffee for $13.49 and Hillshire Farm Turkey Breast for $8.89 are some of the better everyday buys.
For freezer foods, the El Monterey Taquitos for $10.39, Dino Buddies Chicken Nuggets for $10.99 and Sabatasso’s Gluten-Free Pizza for $12.69 are easy foods to keep on hand.
The Crest Whitestrips and Philips Sonicare brush heads also stand out because both are $15 off.
And if you’re already planning to buy household basics, check the P&G offer before picking up Bounty, Cascade, Swiffer or any of the other qualifying brands. That’s where you may be able to stretch the savings a little further.
Costco’s September Sale Runs Through September 20
Many of these Costco Member-Only Savings are valid through September 20, 2026, although individual offers and warehouse inventory can vary.
I wouldn’t buy something just because there’s an instant rebate, especially at Costco where the sizes are so large. The better buys are usually the things you already use and were going to buy anyway.
