5 New Costco Stores Opening in November 2026

Could your next Costco run come with a shorter drive? Costco has five U.S. locations scheduled to open in November 2026, just as shoppers start stocking up for Thanksgiving and the holidays.

One location is set to welcome shoppers the day before Thanksgiving. And lucky Arizona is getting a new Costco Business Center!

Here’s where Costco is opening in November, the scheduled opening dates and what to know before planning a trip.

Updated October 26, 2026: Opening information is based on Costco’s published announcements, city records and local reporting. Dates can change, and an exact opening day has not yet been verified for Newport News.

Idaho

South Meridian—Opening November 5

Costco’s new South Meridian warehouse is scheduled to open on November 5, 2026.

Address:
203 E. Tower Lane
Meridian, ID 83642

The location will give shoppers in South Meridian and nearby Kuna another option for their Costco runs.

For local families preparing for Thanksgiving, the timing leaves a few weeks to check out the new warehouse before the holiday rush.

California

Vallejo—Opening November 6

Costco is scheduled to open its replacement Vallejo warehouse on November 6, 2026.

New warehouse address:
860 Admiral Callaghan Lane
Vallejo, CA 94591

This is a move from the existing Costco at 198 Plaza Drive. Shoppers should use the new address when visiting the new Costco.

The new Vallejo Costco will have a pharmacy, optical department, hearing aid center, gas station and tire service center.

Costco is also advertising a membership offer tied to the move. Qualifying first-time members who join and enroll in automatic renewal by December 6, 2026, can receive a $40 digital Costco Shop Card with an Executive membership or a $20 digital Shop Card with a Gold Star membership. Check Costco’s full terms before signing up.

Arizona

Chandler Business Center—Opening November 7

A new Costco Business Center is scheduled to open in Chandler on November 7, 2026.

Address:
1111 West Pecos Road
Chandler, AZ 85286

The new Costco Business Center in Chandler is different from a traditional Costco warehouse. Business Centers focus on products for restaurants, offices and other businesses, including food, beverages and operating supplies.

The good thing is you don’t need to own a business to shop there. Households can use their existing Costco membership card to shop at the new Costco Business Center.

If you’re planning a visit, check the Business Center’s own hours and product selection rather than assuming it operates like your usual Costco.

Virginia

Newport News—Expected in November

Costco lists a Newport News opening for November 2026, although an exact grand opening day has not yet been verified.

Planned location:
Jefferson Avenue and Bland Boulevard
Newport News, VA

This will be a replacement for the existing Newport News warehouse. City planning documents identify the relocation project near Jefferson Avenue and Bland Boulevard.

The existing Costco’s address is 12121 Jefferson Avenue. Shoppers should check Costco’s updated warehouse listing for the replacement location’s final customer address and opening day before visiting.

Wisconsin

Franklin—Opening November 25

Franklin’s new Costco is scheduled to open on November 25, 2026, at 8 a.m.—the day before Thanksgiving.

Address:
2710 West Drexel Avenue
Franklin, WI

The location will be Milwaukee County’s first Costco. It’s a roughly 164,000 square-foot warehouse with a gas station and extensive parking.

The opening gives local shoppers a new place to shop for last-minute Thanksgiving purchases. Keep in mind that U.S. Costco warehouses are closed on Thanksgiving Day, so plan any holiday shopping accordingly.
