A new Eataly is coming to the New York suburbs! This will be the first Eataly in the NY suburbs and it’s opening in New Jersey. No need to go all the way to the city to satisfy that Eataly craving.
For those who don’t know, Eataly is an Italian market, restaurant, and cafe. The market is stocked with thousands of imported and local Italian products, from balsamic vinegar to fresh pasta to prosciutto.
They also have a cafe that serves up espresso, cappuccino, croissants, pastries, pizza, and paninis on focaccia bread. The restaurant is a sit-down spot where you can enjoy authentic Italian cuisine.
We don’t know yet what the New Jersey Eataly will be like, but we’re hoping it’ll be similar to the one in Flat Iron with the market, restaurant, and cafe (see photos).
The new Eataly will be located in the upscale Short Hills Mall in Millburn, NJ, taking over the old Primo Mercato near Bloomingdale’s. The opening date has yet to be announced, but many local news sources are speculating that it will open by the end of 2024!
Eataly currently has nine locations in the US, including Manhattan, Chicago, LA, Las Vegas, Dallas, and Silicon Valley.
