Bergen County Fourth of July Fireworks

Paramus 4th of July Fireworks 2023

The Paramus 4th of July celebration is a full day of family-friendly fun. The Paramus fireworks display will be held on July 2, 2023.

The Paramus 4th of July celebration will be held at the Cliff Gennarelli Sportsplex on July 2, 2023.

Fireworks

The day will kick off with the Pre Fireworks Food & Music Fest at noon. There will be performances from Naughty Humphrey and Guy Smiley, and a variety of food trucks. 

Family-friendly activities such as a bounce house, airsoft shooting, bungee trampoline, and more will be available.

At 6 PM, the field opens for the evening’s main event: the Paramus fireworks display. Entry is free, but guests must adhere to security measures including a clear bag policy for easy bag checks.

Come and enjoy a day of food, fun, music, and a memorable fireworks show.

Allendale 4th of July Fireworks

The Allendale’s 4th of July Celebration is our biggest annual event that starts at 7 am and ends with the award-winning fireworks display at Crestwood Lake

Bergenfield Firework 2023

Come and join Bergenfield’s family fun day this June 11, 2023 at Veteran’s Memorial Park.

There are rides, food, live music, entertainment and fireworks!

Where: Veteran’s Memorial Park

East Rutherford 4th of July Fireworks 2023

The East Rutherford Fourth of July Fireworks will be held at the State Fair Meadowlands on July 3 and July 4.  

State Fair Meadowlands is New Jersey’s largest family event running from June 22, 2023 to July 9, 2023 with family friendly rides, free entertainment, games, and diverse food options for everyone. 

The fireworks display will be held on July 3rd and July 4th.

Where: State Fair Meadowlands, East Rutherford, NJ

Parking: Parking is free every day for all Fairgoers. 

Details: Spectacular Fireworks Displays on both July 3rd and July 4th. The fireworks can be seen from anywhere on the fairgrounds.

The 2023 State Fair Meadowlands in New Jersey runs from June 22 to July 9. It features exciting events such as cycle stunts, pig races, rides, magic acts, and other entertainment for the whole family. 

Key attractions include the aerial-high wire show by Pirates of the Colombian Caribbean, a transforming 15-foot action robot, pig races, a freestyle motocross show by Cycle Circus, award-winning magic by Lance Gifford, and hypnotism by Steve Bayner.

Free parking is provided, and there’s a designated Uber drop-off and pick-up location. Highlights include fireworks on July 3rd and 4th, a petting zoo, and the largest Kiddie Land in New Jersey. 

Edgewater 4th of July Fireworks 2023

The Edgewater Independence Day Firework 2023 is here!

There will be live music, food trucks, kids’ activities and fireworks for the family to enjoy!

When: June 29, 2023 (rain date June 30, 2023)

Where: Veterans Field 

Parking: Parking is limited so utilize the free Edgewater Shuttle Bus along River Road, just wave to the Edgewater Bus for a pick-up.

Details:  Bring a chair or blanket. Gates are open at 6pm to 10pm. Fireworks begin at approximately 9:20 pm.

Saddle Brook 4th of July Fireworks 2023

Come celebrate Independence Day at Saddle Brook’s Fourth of July fireworks on July 3, 2023.

Saddle Brook’s annual Fireworks Spectacular event will start with a Drums from Heaven performance at Freedom Circle at 6 PM, and the fireworks will begin around 9:15 PM.

Tenafly 4th of July Fireworks 2023

Tenafly’s Annual 4th of July fireworks display will take place on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at approximately 9:00 pm behind the Tenafly High School. 

Tenafly’s Town Wide Independence Day Celebration is a full day event. 

Tenafly’s 4th of July celebration starts at 10am with amusements, games, food, and fun at The Roosevelt Common. 

Tenafly’s annual fireworks display will be behind Tenafly High School at around 9 PM, with pre-fireworks entertainment starting at 7:30 PM featuring Divinity Roxx.

In case of rain, Tenafly fireworks will be postponed to Sunday, July 9, 2023.

When: July 8, 2023 (raindate for fireworks July 9) Fireworks starts at 9 pm

Where:  Behind the Tenafly High School

Details:  There will be a full day of celebration with amusements, games, food, and fun on July 8, 2023 — 10 am to 2:30 pm at the Roosevelt Common. Fireworks will be in the evening at around 9pm.

Englewood 4th of July Fireworks 2023

The Englewood’s Fireworks Celebration is back and it is held at Dwight Morrow High School’s front lawn at 274 knickerbocker road on June 28.

Fair Lawn 4th of July Fireworks 2023

Come celebrate Independence Day at this year’s Fair Lawn Fireworks!

The Fair Lawn Firework is located at Memorial Park on June 29, 2023 from 6:45 pm to 9 pm.

Grab your pre-sale tickets for only $7 per Adult, $5 for Children under 12 years old and Senior Citizens or $25 for a Family of 5. Pre-sale tickets are on Sale until June 29 at 5 pm.

Tickets are also available at admission gates. $9 for Adults, $7 for Children (under 12), $6 for Senior Citizens, and $30 for a Family of 5.

Glen Rock 4th of July Parade 2023

Come and join Glen Rock’s annual 4th of July Parade at Glen Rock NJ!

The Glen Rock’s Fourth of July parade starts at 9 am – Formation at Hamilton Avenue.

Hackensack 4th of July Firework 2023

Come celebrate Independence Day at Hackensack’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular at Foschini Park. 

Hackensack’s Fourth of July festivities begin at 4 pm with food trucks, family games, and a beer garden open until 8pm. 

Enjoy a live performance by Fillet of Soul at 7:30pm, leading up to the main event – the Fourth of July fireworks display kicking off at 9pm.

Maywood 4th of July Fireworks and Parade 2023

The Maywood Fourth of July fireworks will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 6:30 PM. 

Maywood’s Independence Day fireworks event will take place at Memorial Park, located on Grant Avenue, Maywood, New Jersey. 

In case of rain, the Maywood fireworks display is rescheduled for the following Saturday, July 8, 2023. 

There will also be a Maywood 4th of July parade on July 4th.

Oradell Independence Day Fireworks 2023

Come and celebrate Oradell’s 4th of July Celebration!

Oradell’s Independence Day fireworks will be held on July 3rd.

On July 3rd, from 6:30pm to 9pm, enjoy a DJ, food trucks, and fireworks at Memorial Field. 

On July 4th at 9am, there will be a parade, beer garden, and wet down. 

The parade starts on Oradell Ave / Third Street and ends at Memorial Field for the Beer Garden and Wet Down.

Ramsey Fourth of July Fireworks 2023

Come and join Ramsey 2023 Independence Day Celebration & Concert!

Ramsey’s 4th of July fireworks event is held at Finch Park!

Ridgefield Park Fireworks 2023

Come and join Ridgefield Park’s Independence Day Celebration on July 4, 2023.

Ridgefield Park’s 4th of July fireworks will be held on July 4th.

The Ridgefield Park’s Independence Day celebration starts at 7:30 AM with a reading of the Declaration of Independence and a Flag Raising Ceremony by Boy and Girl Scouts. 

The Baby & Youth Parade begins at 9:00 AM at Poplar Street and Euclid Avenue. Prizes will be awarded.

The Main Civic Parade, featuring community organizations and bands, starts at 11:30 AM at Preston Street and Hudson Avenue.

In the evening, a free concert by the Rutherford Community Band will take place from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Veterans Field. 

This will be followed by Ridgefield Park’s 4th of July fireworks display starting at around 9:30 PM.

The theme of this year’s celebration is “When you wish upon a Star: Celebrating 100 years of Disney”.

Ridgefield Fireworks 2023

Come out and join the Ridgefield Independence Day Celebration Party on July 3rd at Veterans’ Memorial Park. 

Ridgefield’s 4th of July fireworks display will take place on Monday, July 3rd. 

Ridgefield Park’s Fourth of July event starts at 6:00 PM with music, food, and kid-friendly activities like face painting and moonwalks. 

The evening will conclude with Ridgefield’s fireworks display.

Ridgewood 4th of July Firework 2023 

The Ridgewood’s annual fireworks is back with entertainment for the whole family to enjoy!

The 113th annual Ridgewood Fourth of July Celebration is scheduled for Tuesday, July 4, 2023. 

The day begins at 9 AM with a flag raising ceremony at Wilsey Square, followed by a parade at 10 AM. 

The evening festivities, including live music, food trucks, a beer garden, and fireworks, start at 6 PM. Gates open at 6 PM.

This year’s theme is “Made in America”, celebrating American creations and innovation. When: July 4, 2023. Flag raising 9am. Parade 10am. Fireworks around 9:10pm (raindate for fireworks July 5)

Fireworks

Where: Flag Raising at Wiley Square. Parade begins 10am at South Monroe Street and Godwin Avenue. Fireworks at Veterans Field (North Maple Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ).

Details: Gates open at 6pm for Ridgewood’s annual fireworks display.

Food trucks are on-site, a beer garden and live music.

The fireworks display starts around 9:10pm. Come early, pack bug spray and bring a blanket or beach chair. 

Parking: Park in the central business district and walk to Veteran’s Field. There are significant street closures around Vet’s Field, including Maple Avenue.

Franklin Lakes Fireworks 2023

The Franklin Lakes Day Festival, Carnival and Fireworks is back!

The Borough of Franklin Lakes is partnering with the Lions Club to host the Carnival on Wednesday, May 17 through Sunday, May 21, 2023.

Fireworks

When: May 21, 2023 from 3pm  to 8:30pm 

Where: Parsons Pond Park

Details: Pay $35 price for ride wristbands on Sunday, May 21, 2023. 

Fireworks will be on May 21, 2023, starting at approximately 8:30 pm.

Hudson County 4th of July Fireworks

Bayonne 4th of July Fireworks 2023

Bayonne’s Independence Day Fireworks is back! 

Bayonne’s Independence Day Celebration will take place on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, starting at 6:30 PM at the lower level of DiDomenico-16th Street Park. 

Bayonne’s 4th of July event includes free children’s inflatable rides from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, a performance by Parkway Soul, an Earth, Wind and Fire tribute band, at 7 PM, and a 30-minute fireworks display at about 9:15 PM. 

Bayonne’s 4th of July Fireworks rain date is Sunday, July 9.

Where:  The lower level of DiDomenico-16th Street Park 

Jersey City Fireworks 2023 

The Annual Jersey City July 4th celebration is back with a Fourth of July Street Fair and Fireworks along the Hudson River waterfront. 

Jersey City’s Independence Celebration is a full day event. The festivities will start with a street fair from noon to 10 pm along Montgomery Street at Exchange Place. 

Jersey City’s fireworks will take place around 9:30pm on the Hudson River.

Fireworks

When: July 4, 2023. Fireworks will take place around 9:30pm. The Jersey City’s 4th of July Street Festvial is from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Where: Montgomery Street at Exchange Place. 

Parking: Roads surrounding Montgomery Street will be closed for the duration of the event.

It is strongly encouraged to arrive by foot, bike, or public transportation, as parking will be extremely limited. 

The Exchange Place light rail stop will be closed. Attendees are advised to use the Harborside or Marin Boulevard stops. Bike JC will offer free bike valet parking to encourage alternative transportation.

Details: There will be music from a local DJ, more than 60 food trucks and local vendors. Fireworks start at 9:30 pm

Kearny 4th of July Fireworks 2023

Come celebrate Independence Day and watch Kearny’s 4th of July Fireworks on July 4th. 

Kearny’s 4th of July Festivities will be held on Tuesday, July 4th at Veterans Field, with a rain date of Wednesday, July 5, 2023. 

Kearny’s Independence Day celebration starts at 6:00 PM with music by the Kootz Band, followed by the James Dean Orchestra at 7:30 PM. 

Kearny’s 4th of July firework display will start around 9:10 PM from the Frank A. Vincent Marina. 

The fireworks display is viewable from Veterans Field or the lower Veterans Field Hill. Bring your own chairs or blankets. No alcohol or smoking is allowed.

Details: Kearny’s 4th of July fireworks can be viewed on Veterans Field located on Belgrove Drive between Bergen Avenue and Afton Street, or on the lower Veterans Field Hill. Please bring your chair or blankets.

Union City 4th of July Firework 2023

Come celebrate Independence Day and watch Union City’s 4th of July Fireworks.

Union City’s 2023 Fourth of July Spectacular will be held at Biertuempfel Park on Tuesday, July 4th, with a rain date of July 5th. 

Union City’s Independence Day event starts with a 7:30 PM concert featuring music from the Silver Arrow Band, followed by a fireworks display. 

Admission is free, and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.

Essex County 4th of July Fireworks

Nutley 4th of July Fireworks 2023

Come watch Nutley’s Fourth of July Fireworks!

Nutley’s Fourth of July festivities will take place on Monday, July 4, starting at 6:30 PM. 

Nutley’s Independence Day event will feature food vendors and music/games by DJ Rob Franicola. 

The 4th of July event will be held in the Nutley Park Oval at 300 Franklin Avenue. 

Nutley’s fireworks are set to begin at dusk.

When: July 4, 2023 at 6:30 pm

Where: Nutley Park at Oval 300 Franklin Avenue, Nutley, NJ

Parking: Franklin Avenue will be closed between Chestnut and Church St. beginning at 4:00pm and will not reopen until cleanup is finished.  Please use caution while traveling in this area.

West Essex Fourth of July Fireworks 2023

Come celebrate Independence Day and watch West Essex 4th of July fireworks display. 

The annual West Essex 4th of July fireworks, sponsored by the communities of Caldwell, Essex Fells, Roseland, North Caldwell, and West Caldwell, will take place on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at the James Caldwell High School Baseball Field. 

Gates open at 7:00 PM with entertainment by DJ Dan Duca. 

In case of rain, fireworks will be postponed to Wednesday, July 5.

Where: James Caldwell High School Baseball Field, Westville Avenue in West Caldwell.

Details: To help offset the cost of the fireworks, the committee is asking for a donation of $3 per adult and $1 per child under 12.

Maplewood 4th of July Fireworks 2023

Come celebrate 4th of July at Maplewood’s Independence Day Celebration!

Maplewood’s Independence Day celebration will feature live music, food for purchase, and fireworks at nightfall. The event begins at 6 PM. 

Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket. 

Originally scheduled for July 2, the Maplewood Fireworks has been postponed to July 6.

Union County 4th of July Fireworks

Cranford 4th of July Fireworks

Crandord’s Fireworks display has been rescheduled for Thursday, July 13. S

Starting at 5 pm, there will be food trucks and inflatables. 

The Cranford fireworks display will start at approximately 9:30 pm.

Where: Nomahegan Park

Details:  Independence Day fireworks display starts from 5 pm to 9:30 pm

Summit 4th of July Fireworks 2023

Celebrate Independence Day at Summit’s Annual Fourth of July Celebration!

The day-long, family-friendly celebration will include entertainment, rides and amusements, as well as an expanded food truck festival. 

Summit’s Fourth of July celebration runs all day, beginning with a Children’s Decorated Bicycle Parade and culminating in a grand fireworks display at 9:15 PM. 

Fireworks

Summit’s 4th of July festivities include a Food Truck Festival and amusement rides, which open at noon, along with multiple concerts, including a performance by Daddy Pop. 

Various food trucks will be on site. Activities like games, amusements, and bounce houses are available for purchase. The all-day bounce house pass is $30. 

Admission for the flag-raising ceremony, bike parade, concerts, and fireworks display is free. 

The event is cash-only for food trucks, memorabilia, and bounce passes. 

When: July 4, 2023 from 12 noon to 10 pm 

Where: Soldiers Memorial Field at 5 Myrtle Avenue, Summit, NJ

Details: The day will begin with a flag raising ceremony at 12 noon, followed by a decorated bicycle parade for children at 12:15 pm. 

Rides, amusements, and entertainment will continue until 9 pm, and will conclude with the Grand Fireworks Display at 9:15pm.
