Are you planning to go pumpkin picking this weekend? Westchester County and nearby Fairfield County are full of local pumpkin patches that make for the perfect autumn outing.

Pumpkin picking is a wonderful way to enjoy a crisp fall afternoon with family or friends. Even better, many pumpkin patches offer additional seasonal fun, like hayrides, corn mazes, and apple picking.

Here are some of our favorite pumpkin patches in and around Westchester County.

Pumpkin Patches in Westchester County

Wilkens Fruit and Fir Farm 

Wilkens Fruit and Fir Farm is an apple orchard in Westchester County with a pumpkin patch. 

Wilken Fruit and Fir Farm is open Wednesday to Monday (closed on Tuesdays) from 10am to 4:30pm. 

You can get your pumpkin picking and apple picking at the same place! On your way out, stop by the Bakery for their famous apple cider donuts.

Outhouse Orchards

Outhouse Orchards is an apple orchard with a pumpkin patch in Northern Westchester County. 

There is a wide selection of pumpkins and gourds at the pumpkin patch. You can also do your apple picking after your visit to the pumpkin patch.

In order to minimize crowding on the weekends, Outhouse Orchards has implemented an online reservation system. There is a reservation fee and you have a 3-hour window to go apple picking. 

After apple picking, head over to the corn maze for some fun (admissions fee).

Harvest Moon Farm and Orchard

Harvest Moon Farm and Orchard is another apple orchard in Westchester County with a pumpkin patch. 

Starting mid-September, the Harvest Moon Farm and Orchard will be brimming with pumpkins of all shapes and sizes!

You can go to Harvest Moon Farm and Orchard to do both your apple picking and pumpkin picking. 

In order to keep capacity low, you need to make online reservations for apple picking. There is an admission fee to go apple picking at Harvest Moon Farm and Orchard.

After apple picking and pumpkin picking, enjoy live music, a glass of hard cider, BBQ lunch, burgers and apple cider donuts. It’s a great way to spend the afternoon.

Dykeman Farm

The pumpkin patch at Dykeman Farm is open for pumpkin picking!  Choose from over 70 varieties of pumpkins at the pumpkin patch. 

The pumpkin patch is open for pumpkin picking and it is available weekends only and Columbus Day from 10am to 5pm.

Enjoy free hayrides on the weekends. On the way out, stop by the Farm stand for sweet corn and other farm fresh produce. 

Dykeman Farm is an hour’s drive from Westchester County, NY.

Sam Bridges Nursery

Sam Bridges Nursery is a local Greenwich favorite for hayrides and pumpkin picking. 

The pumpkin patch at Sam Bridges Nursery is open for pumpkin picking Monday to Saturday from 8:30am to 5pm. 

Free hayrides to the pumpkin patch are available at Sam Bridges on Fridays 2pm to 4pm and Saturdays 10am to 4pm. 

Pumpkin painting is available in the greenhouse on Saturdays 10am to 4pm. On your way out, get your mums and other Fall favorites for your Fall plantings.

St. John’s Lutheran Church Stamford

If you want to give back, a visit to the St. John’s Lutheran Church Pumpkin Patch in Stamford is a good place to go. 

The Pumpkin Patch is an annual mission activity at St. John’s Lutheran Church.

 A Navajo tribe and local charities receive the proceeds from the pumpkin patch.

There is also food sold at the food tents to support the quilters of St. John’s who make quilts for Lutheran World Relief, a world-wide quilt distribution to those in need. 

The pumpkin patch at St. John’s Lutheran Church Stamford is open Monday to Friday from 3pm to 6pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 6pm. 

 St. John’s Lutheran Church Pumpkin Patch is 37 minutes from Westchester County. 

St. John’s Lutheran Church Pumpkin Patch is located at 884 Newfield Avenue, Stamford, CT.

Old Greenwich School Pumpkin Patch

The Old Greenwich School Pumpkin Patch is an annual tradition and the largest fundraiser for the Old Greenwich School PTA.

 The Old Greenwich School Pumpkin Patch is a fall festival attracting local Greenwich families featuring games, food, live entertainment, inflatables and crafts. 

This year’s Old Greenwich pumpkin patch is on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 11am to 4pm.

Old Greenwich School Pumpkin Patch is located at the Old Greenwich Elementary School- 285 Sound Beach Avenue, Old Greenwich, CT.

Jesse Lee Church Pumpkin Patch

If you are looking to give back, visit Jesse Lee Church Pumpkin Patch in Ridgefield, CT.  It is a good place to get your pumpkins. 

Pumpkins purchased at Jesse Lee Church benefit the Navajo Nation community. 

On weekends the pumpkin patch is open from 10am to 6pm and on weekdays the Jesse Lee pumpkin patch is open from 2pm to 6pm. 

Jesse Lee Pumpkin Patch is 35 minutes from Westchester County, NY.

Jesse Lee Pumpkin Patch is located at the Jesse Lee Memorial United Methodist Church- 207 Main Street, Ridgefield, CT.

Blue Jay Orchards

The pumpkin patch at Blue Jay Orchards is open for pumpkin picking.

The farm welcomes visitors Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though apple picking is only available on weekends.

Weekday visits are still welcome to explore the farm and enjoy its atmosphere. Don’t forget to stop by the bakery on your way out for fresh pies and their famous apple cider donuts.

It is an hour’s drive from Greenwich, CT. Blue Jay Orchards is located at 125 Plumtrees Road, Bethel, CT.

Bishop’s Orchards  

Bishop’s Orchards is open every day for pumpkin picking and apple picking.

The pumpkin patch at Bishop’s Orchards is open for pumpkin picking from 10am to 5pm.

On your way out, don’t forget to pick up their Bishop’s Orchards Signature foods like our Maple Kettle Corn, Apple Cider Donuts, and Fudge. Bishop’s Orchards is also home to the Little Red Barn, which is open Friday to Sunday for live music, food and drinks.

Bishop’s Orchard is located in the town of Guilford in New Haven County. Bishop’s Orchard is an hour and 10-minute drive from Greenwich, CT.

Lyman Orchards

Lyman Orchards is open every day for pumpkin picking from 9am to 4:30pm.

You can also go apple picking at Lyman Orchards. After apple picking, take a stroll in their corn maze. Do know that there is an admission fee to enter the Lyman Orchard corn maze.

Lyman Orchards is also home to Lyman Golf (book your tee time in advance). 

Before you head home, get your weekly food shopping done at the Apple Barrel Farm Market. Don’t expect a small country store, the Apple Barrel Farm market rivals large grocery stores in the area.
