Sam Bridges Nursery
Sam Bridges Nursery is a local Greenwich favorite for hayrides and pumpkin picking. The pumpkin patch at Sam Bridges Nursery is open for pumpkin picking Monday to Saturday from 8:30am to 4:45pm. Free hayrides to the pumpkin patch are available at Sam Bridges on Fridays 2pm to 4pm and Saturdays 10am to 4pm. Pumpkin painting and Build a Scarecrow Kits are available as take home kits. On your way out, get your mums and other Fall favorites for your Fall plantings. Sam Bridges Nursery Pumpkin Patch is 30 minutes from Westchester County. Old Greenwich School Pumpkin Patch
The Old Greenwich School Pumpkin Patch is an annual tradition and the largest fundraiser for the Old Greenwich School PTA. The Old Greenwich School Pumpkin Patch is a fall festival attracting local Greenwich families featuring games, food, live entertainment, inflatables and crafts. This year’s Old Greenwich pumpkin patch is on October 16, 2021 from 11am to 4pm. St. John’s Lutheran Church Stamford
If you want to give back, a visit to the St. John’s Lutheran Church Pumpkin Patch in Stamford is a good place to go. The Pumpkin Patch is an annual mission activity at St. John’s Lutheran Church. A Navajo tribe and local charities receives the proceeds from the pumpkin patch. There is also food sold at the food tents to support the quilters of St. John’s who make quilts for Lutheran World Relief, a world-wide quilt distribution to those in need. The pumpkin patch at St. John’s Lutheran Church Stamford is open on Fridays from 3pm to 7pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 7pm. The pumpkins are arriving on October 2nd and if you want to help unload the pumpkins or sell pumpkins, you can sign up for a shift. Pumpkins purchased at Jesse Lee Church benefits the Navajo Nation community. The pumpkin patch at Jesse Lee Church will run from September 25, 2021 to October 31, 2021. On weekends the pumpkin patch is open from 10am to 6pm and on weekdays the pumpkin patch is open from 2pm to 6pm. Blue Jay Orchards
Blue Jay Orchards is open for pumpkin picking and apple picking everyday from 11am-5pm (weekdays) and 10am-5pm (weekends). Get your apples and pumpkins at Blue Jay Orchards! On your way out, stop by the bakery for fresh pies and their famous apple cider donuts. Blue Jay Orchards is an apple orchard in Fairfield County. Blue Jay Orchards is an hour drive from Greenwich, CT. Blue Jay Orchards is located at 125 Plumtrees Road, Bethel, CT.
Bishop’s Orchards is open everyday for pumpkin picking and apple picking. Pumpkin patch is open for pumpkin picking from 9am to 6pm while apple picking hours are 10am to 5pm. After pumpkin picking, get lost in their corn maze and enjoy a cone from the Ice Cream stand. On your way out, don’t forget to pick up their famous pies and baked goods from their Farm Market. Bishop’s Orchards is also home to the Little Red Barn, which is open Thursday to Sunday for live music, food and drinks at the outside patio. There is also a winery at Bishop’s Orchard. Stop in for tastings of their award winning fruit wines and hard ciders. Bishop’s Orchard is located in the town of Guilford in New Haven County. Bishop’s Orchard is an hour and 10 minute drive from Greenwich, CT. Bishop’s Orchards is at 1355 Boston Post Road, Guilford, CT.
Lyman Orchards is open everyday for pumpkin picking from 9am to 4:30pm. You can also go apple picking at Lyman Orchards. After apple picking, take a stroll in their corn maze with a twist- answer 1970s rock and roll trivia questions correctly to get out of the corn maze! There is an admission fee to enter the Lyman Orchards corn maze. If getting lost in a corn maze is not your thing, then try Lyman Orchard’s Apple Cannons. Test your aim and see how well you can fire their air-powered apple cannons. The Apple Cannons are available until October 31. Lyman Orchards is also home to Lyman Golf (book your tee time in advance). Before you head home, get your weekly food shopping done at the Apple Barrel Farm Market. Don’t expect a small country store, the Apple Barrel Farm market rivals large grocery stores in the area. Lyman Orchards is an hour and 10 minute drive from Greenwich, CT. Lyman Orchards is located at 105 South Street, Middlefield, CT.
