Trader Joe’s Fall Favorites are Back

It may still feel like summer outside, but fall has already arrived at Trader Joe’s.

Trader Joe’s has started bringing back its seasonal autumn products, including several of the bakery treats shoppers wait for all year. Apple Cider Donuts, the Pumpkin Spice Mini Sheet Cake and the Pumpkin Caramel Kringle are among the first big fall favorites spotted on shelves.

This is only the beginning of Trader Joe’s fall rollout. Trader Joe’s typically rolls out its seasonal products gradually, so you may not find every pumpkin, apple and maple favorite on the same shopping trip. Availability can also vary by store, and seasonal items can sell out.

Here are the Trader Joe’s fall products returning to stores now.

Apple Cider Donuts

Trader Joe’s Apple Cider Donuts are back in the bakery section. The six-count package is made with apple cider and coated in cinnamon sugar, giving the donuts that classic sweet fall flavor.

The donuts are $4.99 for a six-count package. Try warming one for a few seconds before serving for a softer, bakery-style treat.

Pumpkin Spice Mini Sheet Cake

Trader Joe’s mini sheet cakes have developed a loyal following, and the Pumpkin Spice Mini Sheet Cake is one of the seasonal versions that returns for fall.

The 18-ounce cake combines pumpkin purée with warm spices including cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger and is topped with a thick layer of cream cheese frosting.

It’s priced at $5.99.

With its small size, it’s an easy dessert to pick up for a fall dinner or get-together without committing to a full-size cake.

Pumpkin Caramel Kringle

Another exciting fall return is Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Caramel Kringle.

The large Danish-style pastry combines pumpkin and caramel flavors for an easy fall breakfast or dessert. It’s also large enough to slice and serve to a group.

The Pumpkin Caramel Kringle is priced at $9.99.

If you’re a fan of Trader Joe’s seasonal Kringles, this is one to look for while it’s available.

Fall Scented Candle Trio

Fall isn’t limited to the food aisles at Trader Joe’s.

The Fall Scented Candle Trio is back for $9.99. The three small candles make it an easy way to add fall scents around the house without buying several full-size candles.

They’re also an inexpensive seasonal hostess gift if you’re heading to someone’s house this fall.

Autumn Mixed Pumpkins

Trader Joe’s is also bringing fall to its plant and flower section.

I found Autumn Mixed Pumpkins for $8.99. These decorative pumpkins make an easy centerpiece or fall decoration for a kitchen counter, dining table or front entryway.

Because they’re already showing up in stores before September, you don’t have to wait until October to start decorating for fall.

Maple & Sweet Potato Flavored Sandwich Cookies for Dogs

Even dogs are getting their own Trader Joe’s fall treats.

Maple & Sweet Potato Flavored Sandwich Cookies for Dogs are back for $2.99. They’re an inexpensive seasonal find for pet owners who don’t want their dogs to miss out on pumpkin-spice season.

Cinnamon Roll Flavored Lip Mask

One of the more unexpected fall finds this year isn’t something you eat.

Trader Joe’s Cinnamon Roll Flavored Lip Mask is $5.99. It’s a fun seasonal beauty find for anyone who loves the warm cinnamon scents and flavors that start appearing everywhere this time of year.

At under $6, it could also make an inexpensive stocking stuffer if you like buying small gifts early.

More Trader Joe’s Fall Favorites to Watch For

Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese

Not every Trader Joe’s fall favorite is sweet. The frozen Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese is also beginning to appear as the autumn collection rolls out.

The seasonal comfort food combines pasta, butternut squash, Gouda, cheddar and Parmesan with fall spices. It is an easy freezer meal for nights when you want something warm and cozy without having to cook from scratch.

Pumpkin Ginger Hold the Cone! Mini Ice Cream Cones

For shoppers who want pumpkin flavor but are not ready to give up ice cream, Pumpkin Ginger Hold the Cone! Mini Ice Cream Cones are another returning option.

The small cones pair pumpkin ice cream with a gingery coating and a crisp cone. Their miniature size makes them an easy after-dinner treat—or a way to try a seasonal dessert without committing to a full bowl of pumpkin ice cream.

Pumpkin Cranberry Crisps

Pumpkin Cranberry Crisps are returning to the snack aisle. The thin, crunchy crackers combine pumpkin, cranberry and fall spices and work especially well on a cheese board.

Try pairing them with goat cheese, Brie or a sharp cheddar for an easy fall appetizer. Because they are seasonal, they are also the kind of pantry item that can disappear well before Thanksgiving.

Cinnamon Bun Spread

Cinnamon Bun Spread is another seasonal favorite starting to show up. The sweet, cinnamon-heavy spread can be used on toast, pancakes, waffles or warm biscuits. It can also be spooned over vanilla ice cream or stirred into oatmeal for an easy fall upgrade.

Walnut Biscotti

Trader Joe’s fall bakery rollout also includes Walnut Biscotti. The crisp cookies are made for dipping and pair well with coffee, hot chocolate or tea. They are a good option for shoppers who want a seasonal treat that is not dominated by pumpkin spice.

More Trader Joe’s Fall Products Should Be Coming

If your Trader Joe’s doesn’t look completely ready for fall yet, that’s not unusual. The seasonal selection tends to roll out gradually, and what is available can vary from one store to another.

These are simply the fall products I found on my latest shopping trip, and there will likely be many more seasonal favorites appearing as we get closer to fall.

If you’re looking for a particular product, it may be worth asking a Trader Joe’s crew member whether they know when it’s expected to arrive.

And with Trader Joe’s seasonal products, there’s always one rule worth remembering: if you see a favorite, don’t assume it will still be there on your next trip.
