Costco has gradually expanded its Asian food product line over the years. I personally think the company’s buyer responsible for sourcing Asian food products has done an excellent job identifying and selecting exceptional products. Below, I’d like to share my favorite Asian food products from Costco.
Best Costco Asian Food Products
1. Sukhi’s Chicken Tikka Masala
I never leave Costco without buying Sukhi’s Chicken Tikka Masala. These are refrigerated, so they don’t take up precious freezer space. They’re delicious and taste like what you’d get at an Indian restaurant. What’s more, they’re an easy last-minute meal. Just cook them in the microwave, and dinner is served!
2. Ling Ling Potstickers
These Ling Ling Potstickers are my kids’ absolute favorites. I always keep a bag of it in my freezer. They come in handy for those impromptu meals. I usually panfry them on a non-stick pan straight out of the freezer, and in just ten minutes, dinner is ready! No defrosting is required. The potstickers come complete with a delicious dipping sauce.
3. Kirkland Tempura Shrimp
If you haven’t tried these Kirkland tempura shrimp, you’re missing out on one of the best Asian food products at Costco. It’s delicious.
It comes frozen, and you can easily air fry it straight from the freezer for just 8 minutes. There is no need to defrost it first, which is a huge plus.
These tempura shrimp are crispy and so tasty. The best part is that they come with a delicious tempura dipping sauce. Although I wish there were more dipping sauce, the ratio is off.
Do know that these tempura shrimps are not quite like the authentic tempura shrimp you get at the Japanese restaurant. They do taste like the traditional tempura shrimp, but the texture is different. They’re crunchier and crispier—some might argue even better than the traditional Japanese version. Give them a try and see for yourself!
4. Nongshim Black Noodle Soup Cup
These Nongshim Shin Black ramen are my favorite. I love it so much that I sometimes am afraid to buy a case at Costco because I end up eating them all too quickly. The spicy broth flavor is seriously delicious, and the extra beef bone broth gives it a richer taste that is absolutely addictive. In fact, I think these are the best ramen available at Costco!
5. Nongshim Udon Noodle Soup
My kids don’t like spicy food, so I give them Nongshim Udon if they want cup noodles. These noodles are a cut above the typical dry ramen in a cup. What sets them apart is that the noodles are pre-cooked; they don’t come dry.
Plus, the noodles are thicker than your average ramen noodles because they are udon noodles. The broth of this Nongshim Udon is flavorful and delicious. Preparing them is easy, too. All it takes is four minutes in the microwave.
6. Ajinomoto Yakisoba
I always have a box of Ajinomoto Yakisoba in my freezer. They are delicious and perfect for last-minute meals. You just microwave them for 5 minutes, and there is no need to defrost. To add some protein to the dish, I like to serve them with Ling Ling Potstickers. It’s the perfect combination.
7. Bibigo Mini Wontons
We love these Bibigo Mini-Wontons! I usually pan-fry them, but if I’m lazy, I air-fry them. They go really well with noodles. And for those of you who aren’t fans of cilantro (like me), don’t let the word cilantro on the label scare you! It doesn’t taste like cilantro at all!
8. Kimchi
Whenever I’m at Costco, I always make sure to get a tub of Kimchi. The price there is unbeatable; it’s even more affordable than the Korean supermarket.
9. Bachan’s Japanese BBQ Sauce
If you’re looking for a teriyaki-like, umami sauce that you can use as a marinade or just to drizzle over food, then you should buy this Japanese BBQ sauce. It’s really delicious and versatile, you can use it on anything.
10. Ajinomoto Yakitori Chicken Fried Rice
These Ajinomoto Yakitori Chicken Fried Rice are my go-to when I’m too lazy to make fried rice from scratch. They are so tasty and easy to cook.
All it takes is just 3 minutes in the microwave, and you have a complete fried rice with chicken and vegetables. It’s a perfect last-minute meal since you don’t have to defrost it beforehand. My kids are huge fans of this dish!
11. Pocky
Pocky is hands down the best Asian snack around. These cream-covered breadsticks are highly addictive. In a Costco case, you can get them in three flavors: chocolate, strawberry, and cookie & cream.
Although chocolate cream is still our favorite flavor, strawberry, and cookies and cream are also good. You can’t beat the price at less than a dollar per pack! It’s much more expensive to buy them at an Asian food store.
12. Roasted Seaweed
When I’m at Costco, I always buy a pack of these roasted seaweed. They are great as a snack, and my kids love them. I like that it’s organic.
13. Rice
When it comes to buying rice, I always buy it at Costco. A bag of Jasmine rice at Costco is $18.99 which is a lot cheaper than the $25 at my local Asian grocery store.
14. Kikoman Soy Sauce
Costco has the best price on Kikoman soy sauce. At less than $7 for two quarts, it’s hard to beat the price. Check out my article: 19 Things that are Cheaper at Costco than Anywhere Else
