What are your favorite restaurants in Fairfield County?

I’m from Fairfield so most of my restaurant recommendations are near Fairfield. When I’m not working, these are my go-to restaurants:

Martel (Fairfield, CT)

Martel is a classic French bistro. I like the roasted cornish game hen. You also can’t go wrong with their fish dishes.

Hoo Doo Brown BBQ (Ridgefield, CT)

The wings are great!

55 Wine Bar (Fairfield, CT)

I go there for dinner and I love the short rib mac and cheese.

The School House at Cannondale (New Canaan, CT)

Get their duck confit. I also like brunch. The eggs benedict is good.

The Cottage (Westport, CT)

I like the skillet pancakes at the Cottage.

What is your signature dish?

I specialize in fresh, artisanal pasta dishes. Pasta with a drizzle of olive oil and sauce that feels light and fresh. My signature dish at South Bay is the Pasta Bolognese, Zuppa de Pesce and Dry-aged Rib Eye.
