Yes. Marshalls is part of TJX Companies, which also owns T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods, Homesense and Sierra. TJX has outlined a long-term goal of adding at least 1,300 stores across its global portfolio.

As of the company’s second quarter 2026 report, TJX operated 1,267 Marshalls stores in the United States and another 112 in Canada. Some of the locations included in the current opening schedule are brand new stores, while others replace or relocate existing stores.

What to Expect at a Marshalls Grand Opening

Marshalls typically schedules extended hours for its grand openings. Many of the October events are planned from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., while regular store hours often begin later.

New stores generally carry the same mix of discounted brand-name and designer merchandise found at other Marshalls locations, including clothing, shoes, handbags, beauty products, home decor, luggage and pet supplies. Because Marshalls receives new merchandise regularly, inventory varies by location and changes frequently.

Before visiting, confirm the date and hours on the Marshalls grand openings page.
