The New Royal Caribbean Cruise Loyalty Status Match Program You Need to Know About

Royal Caribbean Cruise Line has just announced an upgrade to its Loyalty Status Program. They will match loyalty status across all three Royal Caribbean Group brands. This means that if you hold status with Royal Caribbean, you will also be granted status with Celebrity Cruises and Silversea! Here are all the details about Royal Caribbean’s new status match program.

How Does the Royal Caribbean Status Match Program Work?

If you have loyalty status with one of the Royal Caribbean Group brands, you’ll now get matching status across all three brands: Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Silversea. For example, if you’re a Diamond member in Royal Caribbean’s Crown & Anchor Society, you’ll become an Elite member in Celebrity Cruises Captain’s Club and achieve 250 VS Days status in Silversea’s Venetian Society.

When Does the Status Match Program Start?

The status match program for the Royal Caribbean Group’s brands will come into effect on May 30, 2024, and will be based on your status as of that date. Cruise passengers will receive onboard benefits starting on sailings from June 5, 2024.

Do You Have to Do Anything to Get the Status Match?

You don’t need to do anything to get the status match if you’re already enrolled in the loyalty programs. If you’re only a member of one loyalty program, you will need to enroll in the other 2 brands to get the status match in those programs.

What If You Are a Member of Two Loyalty Programs?

If you are a member of two loyalty programs, you will automatically receive the highest member level for those programs. That means if you are an Elite member in Celebrity Cruise’s Captain Club but only a Gold member in Royal Caribbean’s Crown and Anchor Society, as a result of the status match program, you will jump up to become a Diamond member in Royal Caribbean’s Crown and Anchor Society!

Can You Get a Status Match for Upcoming Cruises?

Even if you’ve never been on a cruise with a particular cruise line, you can sign up for their loyalty program before your first cruise and gain loyalty status right away. For example, if you’re a Diamond Crown & Anchor Society member but haven’t sailed with Silversea, you can join Silversea’s Venetian Society and enjoy the benefits of a 350 VS Days member on the very first day of your Silversea cruise!
