Here are 5 reasons to join the Bruce Museum’s Bruce Contemporaries.

Meet Local Families

Joining the Bruce Museum’s Bruce Contemporaries is a great way to meet young local families who are like-minded and interested in art and science. If you are new to town, then this is a great way to meet other people with common interests.

Score Exclusive Invites to Bespoke Events

Are you looking for more of a behind-the-scenes experience? Then the Bruce Contemporaries might just be what you are looking for. Past events include “Sips on the Sound,” a casual cocktail reception at the Bruce Museum Seaside Center in Greenwich Point Park, a behind-the-scenes tour of the newest aircraft in NetJets’ fleet at Westchester County Airport, and a curator’s tour of the Jean-Michel Basquiat exhibition at The Brant Foundation’s new space in New York’s East Village. As a member, you will receive at least four invitations to Bruce Contemporaries social and educational events.

Upcoming Contemporaries events include a private tour of a contemporary art collection in Stamford, a Gallery Crawl along Greenwich Ave., and a return this summer to the Seaside Center for more “Sips on the Sound.”

A Fun Group

When you join the Bruce Contemporaries, you are also gaining access to a group of young couples who love to have fun while supporting the arts and sciences. “I’ve had so much fun as part of the Bruce Contemporaries – it’s a great group of young adults who want to socialize, attend unique or private viewings of art collections, and support the Bruce Museum and all it does for our community,” says member, Hagar Chemali. “I grew up visiting the Bruce and going to its events – it was a key part of my childhood in Greenwich, and I love that I can continue the tradition both as a young adult and for my children.”

Discounts and Early Access to Other Bruce Museum Events

As a member of the Bruce Contemporaries, you have access to discounted tickets to the annual Bruce Museum Gala. In addition, you will have access to early registration to the often sold-out Night at the Museum Family Benefit.

Family/Dual Membership

Family/Dual Membership is included when you join the Bruce Contemporaries. You will enjoy unlimited admission to the Bruce Museum, will receive 2 invitations to members-only exhibition openings and access to many art and science institutions in the area via reciprocal admissions.

Annual dues for the Bruce Contemporaries are $375 for an individual and $550 for a couple.
