Scarsdale residents are districted to the Scarsdale Public School District. There are five elementary schools, one middle school and one high school in the Scarsdale Public School District.

Elementary schools: Edgewood Elementary School, Fox Meadow Elementary school, Greenacres Elementary school, Heathcote Elementary school and Quaker Ridge Elementary school.

High School: Scarsdale High school

Scarsdale PO Schools

Only homes located in the town/village of Scarsdale are districted to the Scarsdale Public Schools while homes that share the Scarsdale Zip Code (Scarsdale PO) may not be districted to Scarsdale Public Schools.

You need to call the school to confirm your school district zoning! Scarsdale PO Homes may be located in the Town of Greenburgh, Town of Eastchester, City of Yonkers or City of New Rochelle.

  • Homes located in the Town of Greenburgh are districted to the Edgemont School district. There are 2 elementary schools in the Edgemont School district: Greenville Elementary and Seely Place Elementary.  Both these schools are K-6th grade.  Edgemont Junior-Senior High School are grades 7th-12th.  There is no school bus transportation to the Edgemont Schools.
  • The town of Eastchester is districted to the Eastchester Union Free School district. Eastchester Schools have 3 elementary schools: Waverly School (K-1st grade), Anne Hutchinson School (Grades 2-5), and Greenvale School (Grades 2-5).  The Eastchester Middle School goes from Grades 6-8 and the Eastchester High School is from Grades 9-12.  
  • The City of Yonkers is districted to Yonkers Public Schools
  • The City of New Rochelle is districted to New Rochelle Public Schools

Is there School Bus Transportation in Scarsdale?

School Bus transportation is available for students attending Scarsdale Public School District Schools. Students attending Scarsdale Public Schools and who live more than 1.5 miles from their school are eligible for school bus transportation.
